IE: Get rid of all the extra clicks ... already!

Whoever designed the IE experience should be fired immediately. Everytime I move around in IE, I am annoyed by the excessive clicking I have to do for basic tasks.

Move from the address bar to the search bar

Internet Explorer: 2 clicks

Firefox: 1 click

Chrome: 0 clicks (winner)

Close an unfocused tab

Internet Explorer: 2 clicks

Chrome: 1 click (winner)

Open a bookmark in a new tab from the bookmark bar

Internet Explorer: not possible?

Chrome: 1 click (winner)
